A handmade sheep with a fuzzy fleece coat - what could be cuter? Just two or three sheep! I guarantee that once you've made one, you won't stop, because working with fleece and woolly animals is addictive!
Sheep Hand Puppet Livestream Course is an exciting new online learning format. We'll be working together live on air!
It is as close as possible to a face-to-face workshop format, it involves working together during the broadcast and a lot of communication. I show you from beginning to end the process of creating whimsical sheep puppet, and you work with me at the same time. I answer all your questions and help you cope with the work as efficiently as possible.
I give very detailed instructions, so there is nothing to be afraid of. Besides, you will still get the record of the livestream with unlimited access.
The list of necessary materials and tools for this course is not so big, everything can be easily found. I describe everything in great detail in the PDF file that you receive right after payment, so that you have time to prepare before the course. In addition, I have recorded three introduction videos where I look in more detail at the tools to work with and the materials needed to create a sheep, in particular I do small useful review on fleece that can suit nicely for the sheep coat and explain how to prepare your fleece for work (selection, washing, storing).
The sheep in this course is a bibabo, which means hand puppet in Russian. It's not too difficult to make, and it requires a small set of materials and tools, most of which can be found at home. Of course, you will have to buy wool and find fleece, and of the specific tools you need a ribbed mat from Ikea shop (or similar), as well as a needle felting needle. These tools and materials need to be prepared in advance, but the pleasure of felting is guaranteed! Believe me, I do animals for 11 years, and the pleasure has not diminished.
Hand puppets are unique characters for children's home theatre. Children love them and trust them. Therefore, these toys are very effectively involved in various educational projects. They are used by teachers, psychologists, ecologists, museum workers. This is a great gadget for communication with a child, a magic creative tool for play, learning and imagination development. But adults are not indifferent to them either, they make even very serious people smile. And I like the process of creation even more - it's like meditation, art therapy and flashback to childhood in one moment! Endless joy and positivity, created with your own hands.
