The raccoon is, without a doubt, one of the most daring and charming creatures you can instantly fall in love with. He is a true soul therapist, and the therapy starts already at the stage of creating him. Time to felt! Especially since the course format is designed so that the raccoon can begin his mission as quickly as possible.
What do we do in the course?
This course is dedicated to creating an adorable, daring raccoon in the form of a hand puppet. We will work on the raccoon using the technique of three-dimensional wet felting. You will learn all the secrets of creating a wonderful face, cute little fingers, a luxurious fluffy coat, and a tail of the highest quality. The result will be a character full of charisma that you won’t want to let go off. Be careful, it’s hard to stop at just one raccoon, and he might even bring other animals along!

This online course combines the convenience of pre-recorded lessons with live support via broadcasts, ensuring results without procrastination. Proper time management is the key to a quick raccoon!
All lessons are already recorded and show the entire raccoon creation process in detail. You will receive them according to a schedule, and between blocks, live sessions are held where you can check your work, ask questions, and exchange ideas. This format helps you stay on track and work efficiently while keeping your own pace.

The course is designed so that even beginners can succeed; I provide very detailed instructions, so there’s nothing to worry about.
The list of materials and tools required for this course is quite small and easy to find in stores. I describe everything in detail in a PDF file, which you receive immediately after payment to prepare before the start. In addition, I recorded two introductory lessons where I go over tools and materials needed to create the raccoon.
The magic of hand puppets
The raccoon in this course is a hand puppet. Creating it is not very difficult, and you will need a small set of materials and tools, most of which you can find at home. Of course, you will need wool and mohair, and some specific tools like a non-slip mat and a needle felting needle. These tools and materials should be prepared in advance, but the joy of felting is guaranteed! I have been creating animals for 16 years, and the pleasure has never faded.
Do not underestimate these toys in terms of felting – they are complex three-dimensional hollow sculptures, extremely durable, and working on them allows you to master a huge number of wet felting techniques and secrets, all in a format where the result is always delightful.
Hand puppets are unique heroes of the home puppet theater. Children adore them and trust them. Therefore, such toys are very effective in various educational projects. They are used by teachers, psychologists, ecologists, and museum staff. This is a real gadget for communication with a child, a magical creative tool for play, learning, and developing imagination. But adults love them too; they bring a smile even to the most serious people. And I personally love the process of creating them – it’s like meditation, art therapy, and a journey back to childhood in one moment! Endless joy and positivity, created with your own hands.

I gladly share all techniques and developments for personal use, but I do not support teaching based on course materials. I also do not encourage creating exact replicas of my work for commercial purposes. The goal of my course is to teach the technology of toy creation based on my characters so that you can later develop independently as an original author, mastering all the technological techniques.
