Wild Marathon 2024. Game 5. September.
In September, in the fifth game of the #bibabowowildmarathon, we got the letter L (Russian Л). Lovely letter!
Quick rules
Once a month, we randomly raffle a letter of the alphabet, to which you must choose from any of our planet's current fauna - from a bug to a whale - according to your tastes. Within a month you have to make a work inspired by this character and post it with the tag #bibabowildmarathon, adding a couple of interesting facts about this animal in the description of the work. Work in any format or technique as long as it's to your liking and suits your creative ideas.

What do we have in L?
The letter L seems to have quite nice selection of heroes. Here we have: lion, lemming, llama, lemur, leopard, labrador and many other dog breeds, lobster, lorikeet, loris, loggerhead and leatherback sea turtles, langur monkey, ladybird, lizard, lynx, liger, locust, little penguin and little brown bat, long-eared owl.
We also have a lot of "leopard" animals: leopard shark, leopard frog, leopard seal, leopard cat, leopar tortoise.
When should I finish my work?
You work until September 30 and post the finished work on your social media (Instagram, Facebook) with the hashtags #bibabowildmarathon and #bibabowm_2024. Also, please, send me the link to your entry to direct message on socialmedia or to website mail, then we will not miss it.
Deadline is September 30.
You may do several works.
If you can't make it in time, post it later. I will add all entries to the collection, but late entries will not participate in our monthly collage, our wall of honour.
I will put together a general collection which I will publish on October 1. Then we will ruffle the new task. Can you imagine what an encyclopaedia of flora and fauna this will be!
Let's summarise the results of the fifth #bibabowowildmarathon game for September on the letter L (Russian Л).
The letter was very prolific, and sometimes it's even bad - it's very hard to decide and start working. This time we have 27 lovely entries, I'm sure there are a few more on the way.
The fox became the bright leader of the game - 8 gorgeous foxes in our collection. And that's where the coincidences ended - the rest of the characters are different solo species. In our collection: lemur, lion, lory, labrador, horse, leopard seal, moose, salmon, lemon butterfly, labaria snake, lapwing cat, forest mouse, forest hoopoe, lapwing, meadow chough, swallow, lava gull, and Pleske's lapwing. It's an amazing variety! And what interesting stories this time - just great!
I too gave in to the temptation of the fox, although there were many seducing options. Although it's not the first time I make foxes, the fox is among my favourites, so I wanted to try something new with it. And time was short. So I used a little time in a big way: I made a micro fox. Another experiment I've been waiting for a long time. The fox is wet felted and durable. Now I want to try to make it even smaller.
