Wild Marathon 2024. Game 3. July.
In July, in the third game of the #bibabowowildmarathon, we got the letter B (Russian Б). And this time we have all the fauna of the world!
Quick rules
Once a month, we randomly raffle a letter of the alphabet, to which you must choose from any of our planet's current fauna - from a bug to a whale - according to your tastes. Within a month you have to make a work inspired by this character and post it with the tag #bibabowildmarathon, adding a couple of interesting facts about this animal in the description of the work. Work in any format or technique as long as it's to your liking and suits your creative ideas.

What do we have in B?
Letter B has plenty beatiful creatures to offer, for example: bee, bat, beaver, badger, baboon, bison, binturong, barn owl, beluga, barracuda, boar, bear, boa, bactrian camel, bulldog, bush baby, bamblebee, buffalo, bobcat, beetle, butterfly.
There are many geographical animals like Bengal tiger or Bornean orangutan or colorful ones like blue whale, brown hyena or blackbird.
When should I finish my work?
You work until July 31 and post the finished work on your social media (Instagram, Facebook) with the hashtags #bibabowildmarathon and #bwm_2024. Also, please, send me the link to your entry to direct message on socialmedia or to website mail, then we will not miss it.
Deadline is July 31.
You may do several works.
If you can't make it in time, post it later. I will add all entries to the collection, but late entries will not participate in our monthly collage, our wall of honour.
I will put together a general collection which I will publish on August 1. Then we will ruffle the new task. Can you imagine what an encyclopaedia of flora and fauna this will be!
Wild Marathon 2024: results of the third game
Let's summarise the results of the third #bibabowildmarathon game for July on the letter B (Latin B).
This time the letter was very prolific, so we have a great biodiversity, and I am very happy about it, because the characters are very different and amazingly interesting.
At the moment we have 33 works and 25 representatives of fauna. If your work is not in the collage, please email me and send me a link to the work. I will definitely add it to the collection.
There are no leaders this time, the choice was too big, so the maximum - paired works, although in general insects were in the top - we have three different butterflies: a reveller, a whitefly and a monarch. Among the pairings we have bumblebees (and even pink bumblebee), polar bears, ladybirds, beagles, badgers, butterflies, beavers and chipmunks.
Also in our collection besides beagles there are different dogs: border collie, marvellous bologna, bull terrier. Among birds - golden eagle, white-fronted grouse and brown sutora. And also squirrel, banana-eating gecko, beluga whale, squirrel, poisonous boomslang snake and magnificent orchid mantis.
I would especially like to mention the interesting texts that turn your works into real characters with a fascinating stories.
I'm with a squirrel this time. The image is not new, but I made a squirrel in the format of a figurine and completely safe, as it is a gift for my little niece: I embroidered the eyes and experimented with shine and UV resin. Now the eyes are as shiny as the glass or plastic ones. I'll tell you more when I get the perfect result. In fact, I'm proud that I managed to do at least something. My sister and her baby are visiting me, so I've redefined time as a resource. I bow to mums who manage to find time for creativity in the squirrel wheel of routine.
